Dr. Daisy Kipkemboi grew up in Statesboro, Georgia and graduated from the University of Georgia (UGA) with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. While at UGA she served as the President of the Pre-optometry Club. She also worked on campus at the UGA Vision Clinic where her love for the profession of optometry blossomed.
She continued her studies at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry (UABSO). During her time in optometry school, she was extensively involved in leadership and community service. She served as student member of the American Optometric Student Association (AOSA), Gold Key Honor Society Vice President, and National Optometric Student Association (NOSA) President. She also completed a student fellowship at the American Academy of Optometry in 2019.
Dr. Kipkemboi is honored and extremely excited to be completing a residency in ocular disease with the amazing team of doctors and staff at Woolfson Eye Institute. She hopes to use the experience gained to provide excellent and advanced eyecare to the community she serves in the future.
